As an Account Technology Strategist (ATS) at Microsoft Sweden, you will play a key strategic role in supporting Sweden’s largest government authorities and municipalities on their digital transformation journey. Together with the Account Executive, you will work in a highly structured and collaborative way to help customers realize their objectives by leveraging Microsoft’s cloud platforms. In this role, you act as a trusted strategic advisor, guiding customers in how to modernize and transform their IT environments towards Microsoft’s cloud ecosystem — with a strong focus on Azure, Security, and Artificial Intelligence. You will work closely with a limited number of strategically selected customers, building deep relationships and long-term engagement models. Together with each customer, you will establish a clear and outcome-driven technology roadmap that supports their mission, regulatory requirements, and societal responsibilities. The role requires both strategic perspective and the ability to translate complex challenges into concrete, value-driven solutions using Microsoft technologies. You will collaborate closely with internal Microsoft teams, partners, and specialists, ensuring alignment across sales, engineering, and delivery. Your work will directly contribute to helping Sweden’s public sector organizations increase efficiency, security, resilience, and innovation capability in an increasingly digital and AI-driven landscape. This is a role for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology, strategy, and customer impact, and who is motivated by making a tangible difference for society through technology.

Own and continuously refresh the Customer Secure AI Assessment, including customer technology landscape and roadmap insights, to drive high‑impact AI and security discussions and opportunities
Orchestrate internal and partner technical resources to deliver end‑to‑end technology leadership and remove technical blockers, working across solution areas and execution stages

Collaborate closely with key stakeholders such as Account Executive, CSAM, CSA, Solutions Engineers, and other internal and partner team members to drive shared outcomes
Drive Microsoft business growth and customer technology transformation by ensuring pipeline is robust and technically viable across solution areas
Lead technical governance and technology decision maker (TDM) conversations with the customer and account team to realize value across solutions
Build and own a customer consumption plan (where applicable) in collaboration with Account Executive/CSAM, and proactively work with the customer to ensure adoption and value realization
Create and land a compelling end‑to‑end AI and security narrative with customers, and share learnings and customer wins to scale best practices
Continuously strengthen business, industry, and technical acumen—especially across AI and Security—and take accountability for learning and development
Leverage Microsoft AI tools and automation to reduce non‑core tasks and increase time spent in high‑value customer engagements
Model integrity and ethical behavior, adhere to company policies and processes, and complete required compliance training by due dates
Requirements:
Proven experience in a senior technology advisory, solution architecture, or strategic technical sales role, working with complex customers and long‑term engagements
Strong understanding of cloud platforms and digital transformation, with particular focus on Microsoft Azure, Security, and AI (including modern data and AI‑driven solutions)
Demonstrated ability to translate business and societal objectives into technology strategies and roadmaps, and to guide customers through structured transformation journeys
Experience working with large public sector organizations, government authorities, municipalities, or other highly regulated environments
Ability to engage credibly with senior customer stakeholders (e.g., CIO, CTO, CISO, innovation and digital leaders) and act as a trusted strategic advisor
Strong collaboration skills and experience working in virtual, cross‑functional teams, partnering closely with Account Executives, customer success, engineering, and partners

High level of credibility, integrity, and professionalism, aligned with Microsoft’s values
