Beacon Hill’s client in Edina, MN is seeking an Account Support Specialist to provide order management and account coordination support for customers in a manufacturing environment. This role ensures timely delivery of parts, manages purchase orders, and serves as the first point of contact for customer needs while collaborating closely with internal teams.
Job Responsibility:
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring customer needs are met with accuracy and timeliness
Process and manage purchase orders, replenishment information, and customer requests within internal systems
Coordinate with manufacturing, procurement, and logistics teams to resolve issues that may impact delivery schedules
Track and monitor customer orders, ensuring alignment with production schedules and inventory availability
Maintain detailed records of account activities, including system updates, order adjustments, and communication history
Review customer scorecards, address discrepancies, and participate in resolution processes
Escalate account issues related to service, pricing, or quality to the appropriate departments
Contribute to process improvement initiatives and support the implementation of best practices in account management
Requirements:
Associate’s Degree in Business or related field preferred
1-2 years of experience in account support, order management, or customer service (manufacturing experience preferred)
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Outlook and Excel
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively across teams
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
Problem-solving skills with the ability to manage issues in a fast-paced environment
