The Account Supervisor (AS) is the primary contact for both the day-to-day project work and strategic leadership on the Business Leadership team. This role is evenly divided between strategic and project management and requires a nimble self-starter with a passion for the agency's work and the client’s business. Successful Account Supervisors manage relationships at all levels, represent the agency’s vision to key stakeholders, and continuously work to identify opportunities to move the client and agency businesses forward.
Job Responsibility:
Ensure that the agency’s work reflects our integrated expertise and is executed to the highest quality – on time and on budget
Ensure all project initiatives (briefs, POVs, creative, media plans, reports) are strategically aligned to brand goals with minimal oversight
Elevate issues and opportunities to the Group Business Director as needed
Proactively manage all internal and client relationships, anticipating and resolving issues while utilizing leadership support as needed
Collaborate with the agency team to develop and deliver effective presentations
Consistently evaluate creative based on strategy and the client needs
Maintain a thorough understanding of all client-related activities to build and maintain client confidence
Responsible for workflow across all campaigns and projects
Lead meetings by setting expectations for key deliverables, clarifying team roles, and next steps
Partner with Group Business Director and Senior Leadership on annual SOW, tracking budgets, monitoring team hours, and account profitability
Lead and develop junior team members, setting clear expectations and ensuring efficient distribution of team communication to the Business Director
Serve as the client business expert, maintaining a forward-looking knowledge of the category, emerging trends, and technology
Be a student of the industry and proactively share insights, things to watch, new work and key topics as related to client and agency business
Identify account growth opportunities and future income streams
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree
5-8 years of agency or relevant marketing experience
Superb written and verbal communication skills
Proven expertise across traditional (emphasis on TV), social and digital channels to effectively lead campaigns from brief development to production to measurement
Strong functional knowledge of the social and digital media ecosystem and data, including cross-platform measurement, tagging requirements, web analytics, and attribution
Ability to inspire confidence and growth in agency and client team members
Proven strategic thinker who acts with authority to set the strategic direction, proactively influence client and integrated teams with clear, reasoned solutions
Proven ability to supervise and develop team members through daily oversight, regular development check points and formal yearly reviews
Self-driven to continuously educate across various disciplines to provide thoughtful insights and analysis
Solutions-focused with a proven ability to think on your feet, adapt to obstacles, and respond fluidly to different personality types and information gaps
Comfortable using Google Workspace and Mac Computers
