Job Description

Culture isn’t a checkbox. It’s the difference between campaigns that get noticed and campaigns that truly connect. We’re looking for an Account Supervisor to partner closely with the VP of Multicultural Marketing in shaping multicultural marketing initiatives across the agency while bringing culturally grounded, integrated campaigns to life. This is an opportunity to join a highly collaborative, entrepreneurial environment where your voice, ideas, and contributions will have a direct impact on the work. As a key partner to the VP of Multicultural Marketing, you’ll help drive day-to-day client leadership, integrated campaign development, and cross-functional collaboration across the agency’s multicultural practice. You’ll lead day-to-day development and execution of campaigns that reach diverse audiences across paid, owned, earned, social, influencer, experiential, and emerging channels, while partnering closely with the VP on strategic direction, client recommendations, and business growth opportunities. The ideal candidate is equal parts culturally curious, organized, collaborative, and proactive – someone who enjoys connecting the dots between insights, strategy, creative, and execution while thriving in a fast-paced agency environment. This is a hybrid role, with both office-based work at the H/L Oakland, CA office and remote work.

Job Responsibility

  • Support culturally nuanced work across multicultural and general market audiences
  • Apply an understanding of diverse consumer segments, community behaviors, and cultural drivers
  • Ensure campaigns authentically reflect audience insights and avoid one-size-fits-all approaches
  • Lead day-to-day development and execution across integrated campaigns spanning paid, owned, earned, social, influencer, and experiential channels
  • Help build and maintain cohesive storytelling ecosystems across touchpoints
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between strategy, creative, media, and execution
  • Manage timelines, deliverables, budgets, and project workflows to ensure successful campaign delivery
  • Serve as a key liaison across internal teams and client stakeholders
  • Support the VP of Multicultural Marketing in developing strategic briefs, messaging frameworks, campaign POVs, and client recommendations
  • Interpret cultural, consumer, and behavioral insights and help translate findings into actionable campaign recommendations
  • Contribute to proactive planning initiatives and long-term platform development
  • Help ensure business objectives are reflected throughout campaign planning and execution
  • Participate in strategic discussions and planning sessions, bringing thoughtful perspectives and ideas to the work
  • Analyze campaign performance across channels
  • Identify optimization opportunities informed by media, audience, and engagement learnings
  • Help translate reporting insights into actionable next steps and future recommendations

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in an advertising, integrated marketing, multicultural marketing, or communications agency environment
  • Demonstrated experience developing or supporting multicultural marketing campaigns (required)
  • Strong understanding of integrated marketing ecosystems, including brand, digital, social, influencer, experiential, and media
  • Experience translating cultural and consumer insights into campaign frameworks, briefs, or recommendations
  • Working knowledge of integrated marketing strategy with experience supporting campaign planning across multiple channels
  • Strong understanding of media ecosystems, platform behaviors, audience segmentation, and performance metrics
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced agency environment
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with creative, media, social, influencer, experiential, and production teams from ideation through execution
  • Strong understanding of culturally grounded storytelling across key demographics, including AACM, ACM, and HCM audiences at both local and national levels
  • Ability to interpret qualitative and quantitative insights and help translate findings into actionable campaign recommendations
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and communication skills
  • Bilingual or multilingual capabilities strongly preferred, particularly Spanish-language fluency
