Our client, a leading company in the chemical industry, is seeking a dedicated Customer Account Specialist to join their energetic team in Mississauga. Job Responsibility

  • Handle incoming customer inquiries promptly and determine their specific needs in a professional manner
  • Respond to inquiries regarding existing orders, including tracking shipments and providing accurate delivery timelines
  • Initiate strategic outbound calls to existing and potential customers to strengthen partnerships and drive account satisfaction
  • Enter client sales orders accurately into the customer care system to ensure flawless order processing
  • Participate actively in targeted telephone sales campaigns to promote chemical products and identify new account opportunities
  • Work cooperatively with other internal departments, such as logistics and finance, to ensure seamless customer care workflows
  • Maintain meticulous account records and document all client interactions within the customer care database

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited post-secondary institution is required for this role
  • Hands-on experience or working knowledge of SAP systems is considered a strong asset for order entry and tracking
  • Proven experience in a customer care, account coordination, or corporate client relations environment
  • Familiarity with or a strong interest in learning the logistics, manufacturing, or chemical industry sectors
  • Ability to work reliably on-site at the Mississauga office location under a stable daytime schedule
  • Legal entitlement to work full-time in Canada for our recruitment agency's client

Nice to have

  • Hands-on experience or working knowledge of SAP systems is considered a strong asset for order entry and tracking
