We are looking for a detail-oriented Account Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Boca Raton, Florida. In this role, you will handle key accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational and financial skills to contribute to a dynamic wholesale distribution environment.
Job Responsibility:
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Oversee billing functions, including preparing and issuing invoices to clients
Perform account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records
Support month-end closing activities by compiling and reviewing financial data
Assist in payroll processing and ensure compliance with company policies
Collaborate with team members to address and resolve discrepancies in financial records
Maintain organized documentation of financial transactions for auditing purposes
Provide support for additional accounting tasks as needed in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
Proven experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Familiarity with billing functions and account reconciliation
Strong understanding of general accounting principles and practices
Proficiency in using accounting software and tools
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a contract position
Spanish language skills are a plus, but not required
