We are looking for an Account Specialist to join a client-focused team in Mason, Ohio on a contract basis with the potential for a permanent position. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong customer support instincts with administrative accuracy and a solid understanding of accounting-related processes. The position will serve as a key resource for clients and internal partners by helping maintain account information, supporting reporting needs, and encouraging successful product use.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain accurate customer and account records in internal platforms, ensuring information remains current and reliable
Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports for clients and internal stakeholders, organizing data clearly and delivering it on schedule
Provide ongoing administration of account-related systems and tools to support daily client operations
Conduct or assist with client education sessions to help users understand available services, tools, and best practices
Partner closely with sales and account management teams to address client questions and support overall account growth
Collaborate with cross-functional departments to resolve issues, coordinate service needs, and improve the client experience
Support the onboarding process for new clients by helping set up accounts, organizing required information, and guiding early-stage activities
Make outbound calls to clients to strengthen engagement, increase product usage, and promote long-term satisfaction
Requirements:
Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and general accounting support functions
Knowledge of account reconciliation practices and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
Strong attention to detail with experience managing sensitive customer or financial data accurately
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams in both written and verbal formats
Comfortable creating reports and working with data to support client service and business needs
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment
Experience supporting customer success, account support, or client-facing operations is preferred
