Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Account Service Associate to join our team in Sunnyvale, California. In this long-term contract position, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and delivering excellent service to members and staff. This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills and a passion for supporting operational efficiency within the accounting domain.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct daily operational and account audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Respond to member inquiries regarding account eligibility, documentation, and general information
  • File Adult Protective Services reports in adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Support the escheatment process by updating property records and utilizing escheatment software
  • Assist with decedent case management, including account ownership updates and closures
  • Process contributions, withdrawals, and withholding election changes accurately
  • Prepare weekly rate and fee schedules for review and distribution
  • Collaborate on special projects to enhance processes and workflows
  • Update and maintain job aids and procedural documents in collaboration with management and staff

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent education and experience
  • Prior experience in financial services is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to conduct audits accurately
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service to members and staff
  • Familiarity with transaction processing and account maintenance
  • Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
