This ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years technical sales experience in the hi-tech automation industry segment. They must hold a firm grasp on mechanical, electrical and motor control concepts used in automated industrial machinery. Candidate will be responsible for maintaining/growing current customer relationships and growing sales with new customer acquisition pursuits. Candidate will partner with our key vendors to find, contact, and follow-up with prospective clients to grow this established sales territory. Once they discover the client's needs, they will discuss our product portfolio and the technological capabilities and business value with the client. The ideal candidate should be able to clearly articulate highly technical concepts to all prospective clients. This position is located in Northeast Ohio.
Job Responsibility:
Clearly articulate technical capabilities and give technical demonstrations
Partner with the marketing team to generate leads
Find and maintain prospective clients
Provide general technical support to clients
Maintaining/growing current customer relationships and growing sales with new customer acquisition pursuits
Partner with key vendors to find, contact, and follow-up with prospective clients to grow this established sales territory
Discuss product portfolio and the technological capabilities and business value with the client
Requirements:
Minimum of 3-5 years technical sales experience in the hi-tech automation industry segment
Firm grasp on mechanical, electrical and motor control concepts used in automated industrial machinery
BSME or BSEE preferred
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
Strong Time Management skills
Ability to discuss highly technical concepts with prospective leads
