The role involves checking figures for accuracy, maintaining files and records, processing payroll, ensuring compliance with company policies, and assisting management in financial and payroll matters. The position requires at least 2 years of experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.
Job Responsibility:
Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy
Organize, secure, and maintain all files, records, cash and cash equivalents
Prepare, maintain, audit, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables
Review, verify, and reconcile punches, hours worked, pay adjustments, and other pay-related information
Back up transaction files and transmit to payroll system
Process and/or issue employee paychecks and statements of earnings and deductions
Provide information to employees and managers/supervisors on payroll matters, tax issues, benefit plans, and collective bargaining agreement provisions
Adjust basic settings in time clock system and correct punches
Audit statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables
Secure and archive required payroll records per guidelines
Handle inquiries and provide information to employees and managers/supervisors on payroll matters
Requirements:
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
At least 2 years of related work experience
No supervisory experience
