Account Policy Senior Group Manager

• Participate in accounting policy enforcement
• Ensure Citi's business activities conform with GAAP
• Contribute to Mergers and Acquisition process
• Facilitate implementation of new accounting standards
• Advise business heads regarding accounting implications of new products
• Prepare and deliver presentations on accounting requirements
• Research technical accounting issues
• Prepare detailed documentation for accounting conclusions
• Assist with accounting training
• Participate in Balance Sheet Review process
• Assist with Internal and External auditors processes
• Participate in development of Citi's Global accounting policies
• Direct and control strategy and execution of company's activities
• Oversee all staff within relevant Infrastructure area
• Assess risk when making business decisions
• Drive compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations

• 15+ years experience in Big 4 Accounting Firm with focus on banks or equivalent experience in Policy group of major financial institution
• Experience working for FASB and/or U.S. banking regulator is highly desirable
• Practical knowledge of US GAAP, specifically in regards to financial instrument accounting
• Knowledge of Regulatory Reporting / Basel issues
• Excellent interpersonal and client service skills
• Excellent research, analytical, organization and drafting skills
• CPA or equivalent certification required
• Bachelors/University degree, Master's degree preferred
• Managerial experience
