Job Description:

We are looking for an Account Opening Operations Lead to own the operational stability and continuous improvement of digital onboarding platforms supporting multiple banking products.

Job Responsibility:

  • Own the operational stability of account opening and digital onboarding applications
  • Manage, prioritise and resolve incidents and operational backlog
  • Perform root cause analysis and drive long-term fixes
  • Coordinate bug fixes and enhancements with development teams
  • Act as the main point of contact between business and IT stakeholders
  • Lead and support a small operations team
  • Introduce and maintain structured processes and documentation
  • Ensure transparency and reporting via Jira and Confluence

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in IT operations, application support or delivery environments
  • Fluent Italian speaker (C1 level or higher)
  • Proven stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in complex systems landscapes
  • Hands-on, proactive problem-solving mindset
  • Solid understanding of system integrations, APIs (REST / SOAP) and Java-based environments

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Spring Boot, GCP, PostgreSQL
  • Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (Dynatrace, Splunk)
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow and hybrid (on-prem & cloud) environments
