An Account Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations and maintaining positive relationships with assigned customers. This involves effectively communicating with customers, understanding their needs and concerns, and addressing any issues that may arise. The Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact for clients and works closely with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products or services.
Job Responsibility:
Provides and communicates accurate information to the customer and internally to maintain a high-level service
Ensures effective communication with designated order entry team members
Accurately tracks and traces loads and uses all tolls provided with MSLV
and escalates any issues to the Operations Manager if necessary
Seeks out opportunities to grow business and foster stronger customer connections
Schedules pickup and delivery appointments with customers in a timely manner
Works with team members to solve problems
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite or related software
Basic knowledge and understanding of motor carrier operations and geography
Excellent customer service and communication skills
