We’re working with a well-established, fast-growing business within the food and hospitality supply space who are looking to add a confident, commercially minded Telesales / Account Executive to their customer support team. This role would suit someone who enjoys building relationships, managing accounts, and spotting opportunities to grow business — rather than hard selling. You’ll take ownership of a portfolio of customers, acting as their main point of contact while proactively identifying opportunities to increase order value, re-engage lapsed accounts, and support the wider field sales team. It’s a great mix of inbound account handling and targeted outbound activity. Job Responsibility:
Manage inbound customer enquiries via phone, email, and online ordering platforms
Build strong, long-term relationships with new, existing, and lapsed customers
Proactively contact customers to promote products and drive additional sales
Act as a trusted point of contact, providing product knowledge and tailored solutions
Identify sales trends and opportunities within customer accounts
Book qualified appointments for external sales representatives
Maintain accurate CRM records, including call activity and follow-ups
Feed back customer insights to support wider business improvements
Requirements:
2+ years’ experience in sales, telesales, or account management
Strong customer service background with a commercial mindset
Confident communicator who can build rapport quickly
Target-driven and motivated by results
Comfortable managing multiple accounts and priorities
Strong IT skills (CRM systems, Microsoft Office)
Calm, professional, and solutions-focused under pressure
Nice to have:
Experience within hospitality, foodservice, or a related sector
Exposure to account management or B2B sales environments
