Account Manager role at Hewlett Packard Enterprise managing enterprise accounts, driving business performance across HPE business units, building customer relationships, and positioning HPE's IT solutions to help customers achieve their business objectives.
Job Responsibility:
Manage one or several larger accounts or act as account lead for substantial part of top account
Understand customer's IT and business objectives, priorities, requirements and challenges
Drive business performance for all HPE BUs and manage portfolio mix to optimize profitability
Accountable for pipeline building and supportive in deal closing
Build and develop relevant customer relationship networks with key influencers and decision makers
Develop and engage with extended partner ecosystem
Develop IT industry knowledge to position HPE's portfolio
Orchestrate, engage, guide and provide feedback to extended account team members
Act as customer's advocate inside HPE
Plan for accounts to deliver results through financial year and beyond
Requirements:
University or bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience
Engineering or technology education, advanced degree or MBA desired
Typically 6-10+ years account management experience managing Enterprise Accounts
Experience in IT industry preferred
Experience managing Telco Enterprise Customers mainly along with other large accounts (FSI etc)
Strong will to win and persistence in face of obstacles
