Job Responsibility:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with national and regional grocery retailers and distributors
Lead joint business planning initiatives, including promotional strategies, growth objectives, and quarterly reviews
Negotiate pricing, assortments, promotions, and trade terms to maximize business opportunities
Utilize syndicated and retailer data to guide strategic decisions, forecast trends, and evaluate performance
Collaborate with partners to implement category growth initiatives and drive sales
Conduct regular business reviews to assess progress and identify areas for improvement
Travel up to 30% to client headquarters, key markets, and industry trade events
Manage promotional planning and execution to align with retailer systems and objectives
Represent the company at trade shows and industry events to expand networking opportunities
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
Minimum of 7 years of experience in account management within the grocery retail industry
Proven track record working with key accounts such as Walmart, Kroger, Albertsons, H-E-B, Publix, and KeHE
Strong knowledge of retailer systems and promotional planning processes
Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills
Proficiency in both English and Spanish
Ability to travel up to 30% for client meetings and industry events
Analytical mindset with experience leveraging data for business strategy and forecasting
