As a Account Manager at AvePoint, you will play a pivotal role in driving pipeline generation and market expansion. You will manage daily outbound activities, qualify marketing-generated leads from events, and engage enterprise-level prospects through structured outreach. You will also participate in showcasing AvePoint’s solutions through presentations, helping prospects understand how we support digital transformation. This role requires someone proactive, energetic, and capable of driving new market penetration with minimal supervision.
Job Responsibility
Execute daily outbound prospecting activities including cold calls, emails, and social outreach
Manage and qualify marketing leads to webinars, road shows, and events
Conduct initial discovery conversations to understand prospect needs and challenges
Build and maintain a healthy pipeline to meet quarterly Qualified Pipeline Generation (QPG) and bookings targets
Present AvePoint’s company profile and high-level solution overview to prospects
Understand customer challenges and solutions requirements
Articulate how AvePoint supports digital transformation, data governance, migration, and collaboration modernization
Understand and explain key concepts related to Microsoft SharePoint & Consultation Services
Plan and execute daily/weekly activities to drive consistent results
Work closely with Account Executives to support territory development
Maintain accurate activity and deal records in Excel or CRM
Adapt quickly to new market conditions and develop new territories with minimal guidance
Requirements
Minimum 3 years’ experience in Account Management, Business development, or similar roles. Proven track record in selling enterprise solutions such as: Outsystems
Qlik
LinkedIn solutions
Snowflake
Salesforce
Or similar B2B SaaS / enterprise technologies. Experience in Microsoft SharePoint ecosystem preferred, with understanding of how to build/design DMS, KMS, or RMS frameworks. Manage and grow a portfolio of enterprise and mid-market customers across Malaysia. Drive sales of AvePoint’s Data Governance, Compliance, and AI-enabled solutions. Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers, including CIOs, CISOs, Data Protection Officers, and IT leaders. Understand customer business needs related to data governance, security, compliance, and AI readiness. Deliver value-based solution positioning and articulate ROI aligned to regulatory and business outcomes. Collaborate with pre-sales, customer success, and partner teams to ensure successful solution adoption. Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts. Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM reporting. Discipline in planning daily/weekly outreach activities to achieve measurable targets. Aggressive, self-motivated attitude with the ability to work independently and pursue new markets.
