The Account Manager provides account management and a high level of customer service excellence to our brokers and insureds and prospective insureds by assisting the Programs team. The Account Manager must be able to manage an organized desk and meet tight deadlines when needed, be detail-oriented, apply critical thinking and possess effective communication skills.
Job Responsibility:
Respond to all inquiries within prescribed timelines
route calls elsewhere as needed
Manage renewal account list
Provide risk management and insurance guidance to custom account clients
Evaluate service requests from custom account clients and determine the best method to respond in compliance with standard industry protocols
Prepare and issue Certificates of Insurance, ensuring policy coverage aligns with contractual requirements
Assist with any follow-up submission items that may be required
Update direct bill/agency bill status as needed
Manage client relationships
Any other job-related duties as may be assigned
Requirements:
Active Indiana Property and Casualty License (or obtain within 3 months of hire date)
High school diploma/GED
One to three years of experience in insurance-related customer service position
Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook/Word/Excel and ability to quickly adapt to internal proprietary software programs
Excellent verbal and digital communication skills
Perform tasks with a high degree of accuracy

Critical eye for detail
Ability to work both independently and with a team
