As a member of Baxter’s sales team, you’ll be aligned to one of our global business units and be responsible for new business, developing existing accounts and ensuring patient-centric approach in all your dealings. You’ll work within an assigned geographic area or with specific accounts to achieve or exceed personal and business goals, all in pursuit of our mission to save and sustain lives. In the sales role, you’ll have the opportunity to provide input on new markets and products, manage customer concerns, and collaborate with other teams.
Job Responsibility:
Business Development
identify and pursue new business opportunities within the space of low acuity vitals signs, acute hospitals beds & surfaces and diagnostic cardiology
Developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
Sales
Negotiation and leading the sales process from initial contact to full implementation of your solution with specific focus on identifying a customer challenge and positioning of the solution
Customer relationship management
building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers (installed base), understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to drive adoption of technology in areas such as patient deterioration, early mobility, safe patient handling, pressure injury prevention
Find opportunities to promote the Baxter solution around the bed space
Data Analysis and reporting
use data and insights to adapt local sales strategies and optimise performance
Collaboration, working cross functional with therapy, medical, marketing bringing in expertise to enhance the customer experience and identify the challenge you are solving
CRM & Funnel Management
use CRM tools to build and track funnel, record customer interactions and engagement levels ensuring personalized follow-up and support
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of 5 years experience within the medical device field – consistent track record selling to the NHS
Excellent communication, negotiation and social skills
Strong business insight
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise a busy territory and workload
