Job Description

As an Account Manager at Brkthru, you'll own the day-to-day client relationship and campaign delivery across your assigned book of business. This role sits at the center of execution, working to turn client goals into action, keep campaigns moving, and make sure nothing slips, while working with sales to create opportunities that drive revenue. You'll lead client communication and partner with Client Success Directors (Brkthru sellers) across multiple books of business to drive campaign execution, alignment with Media and internal teams, and overall account performance. This role is hands-on, spanning execution, reporting, and revenue accuracy. It's a strong fit for someone who wants real ownership, operates with urgency, and is looking to grow deeper in digital and programmatic media.

Job Responsibility

  • Own a book of business, being fully accountable for day-to-day client relationships, ensuring communication is clear, timely, and aligned to business goals
  • Lead client cadence (weekly calls, agendas, recaps, next steps) and keep both client and internal teams aligned and moving forward
  • Stay ahead of client needs, risks, and performance challenges, solving issues early, before they impact results or trust
  • Travel as needed and on-demand based on business necessity to support client relationships, key meetings, and critical moments that benefit from in-person collaboration
  • Align campaign strategy to client goals, KPIs, and measurement frameworks so performance is evaluated against the right outcomes
  • Continuously assess pacing and performance, identifying risks, tradeoffs, and optimization opportunities with clarity and urgency
  • Turn performance data into clear, actionable narratives that help clients understand what's working, what's not, and what to do next
  • Identify and drive growth opportunities that improve client results and expand the partnership
  • Partner with Media and cross-functional teams to ensure campaigns launch accurately, execute cleanly, and stay aligned to client expectations
  • Own campaign setup and QA across insertion orders, assets, tracking, and dashboards, working to avoid gaps and surprises
  • Validate campaigns post-launch to ensure creative, targeting, and tracking are running as intended
  • Proactively leverage internal tools, resources, and AI to work more efficiently and improve execution quality
  • Show up as a strong partner internally and externally, operating with accountability, transparency, and a bias toward action
  • Deliver reporting (initial, monthly, wrap) that is accurate, on time, and clearly tied to performance and client goals
  • Build clear performance narratives that explain results and drive next steps
  • Own revenue accuracy by validating billing inputs, pacing, and budget changes to keep internal tracking clean and reliable
  • Maintain clear, up-to-date account visibility across CRM, documentation, and internal reporting so decisions are informed and actionable

Requirements

  • 4-6 years in client services, account management, or a client-facing role within digital advertising, media, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in digital media, including exposure to paid media and/or programmatic campaigns
  • Experience managing multiple accounts or campaigns simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Experience working with established brands and collaborating across multiple client stakeholders
  • Own day-to-day client communication with clarity, accountability, and strong follow-through
  • Connect campaign execution to client goals, KPIs, and measurement approaches
  • Identify risks, surface opportunities, and communicate recommendations clearly and proactively
  • Collaborate effectively across Media and internal teams to keep work moving through competing priorities and changing campaign conditions
  • Maintain strong attention to detail across pacing, delivery, and campaign execution
  • Translate campaign performance into clear, client-ready insights and next steps
  • Contribute to strong campaign execution across media and integrated workstreams
  • Brkthru operates as a fully remote company with travel requirements varying by role. Our company conducts two all-company offsites per year and in-person onboarding training. We uphold the expectation that all team members maintain a dedicated and reliable workspace, free from distractions, to ensure optimal productivity
  • This role requires client travel on an as-needed basis.

Nice to have

  • Exposure to programmatic platforms, DSPs, or ad tech environments
  • Experience supporting or contributing to account growth through performance insights or strategic recommendations
