This is an exciting opportunity to join Foodbuy as part of the NHS Supply Chain: Food team as a Client Account Manager. You’ll play a key role in helping NHS Trusts achieve savings, improve service delivery, and support better patient outcomes through smarter, more strategic food procurement.
Job Responsibility:
Build credible, long‑lasting relationships with key NHS stakeholders, understanding their needs and identifying opportunities for growth, savings, and improved service delivery
Analyse purchasing patterns, savings opportunities, and business risks to support Trusts in meeting KPIs and targets
Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of Trust activity, ensuring structured account planning and consistent performance delivery
Collaborate with internal teams — Procurement, Finance & Data, Operations — to ensure activity is tracked, communicated, and executed effectively
Represent Foodbuy and NHS Supply Chain: Food professionally across all Trust engagements, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
Requirements:
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse data and identify opportunities
Proven track record of achieving sales growth and meeting KPIs
Outstanding communication, networking, and presentation skills
Experience building trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders across all levels
Full UK driver’s licence
Nice to have:
Experience in the food industry or procurement solutions environment
