Our client, a well-established and growing company in the fresh food distribution industry, is looking for a driven Account Manager to join their high-performing Sales team in Vancouver, BC. Job Responsibility:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers across assigned accounts
Manage and grow existing customer accounts (approx. 60% account management)
Prospect and source new business opportunities through a disciplined sales approach
Prepare annual sales plans and quarterly forecasting updates
Negotiate pricing while staying informed on market trends, supply, and product quality
Conduct regular customer visits to strengthen partnerships and drive growth
Identify cross-selling opportunities and collaborate with internal teams to increase revenue
Provide support to other Account Managers during vacations or absences
Represent the company professionally as a trusted partner and main point of contact
Requirements:
2+ years of sales and/or account management experience (B2B preferred)
Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
Confident communicator with a professional phone presence
Highly driven, goal-oriented, and motivated by performance and results
Organized and able to manage multiple accounts and priorities
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
College/University education preferred (Business/Economics is an asset)
A second language is an asset
Experience in perishables (produce, seafood, dairy, etc.) is considered a strong asset

What we offer:
Base Salary: $55,000 – $65,000
Commission + Bonus Program (strong earning potential based on performance)
