Our client is the market-leading one-stop shop for hand tools, machine cutting equipment, cutting tools, metrology equipment, measuring equipment, PPE, tooling, grinding and welding consumables as well as cleaning, hygiene solutions serving customers in the manufacturing and engineering industries across the oil, gas, and aerospace sectors.
Job Responsibility:
Manage between 50-100 accounts with regular spend
Responsible for true relationship/account management for these existing accounts to sell an end-to-end solution to productions/engineering companies
Sell the entire range of tooling solutions to include hand tools, machine tools, air tools and all associated products for the manufacturing shop floor to customers in the Aberdeen area
Sell to a diverse range of industries found within the Aberdeen area and to a wide range of decision makers including Engineering Managers, Production Supervisors, Health & Safety Officers, Manufacturing Managers and Procurement/Finance Managers alike
Requirements:
Minimum two years sales experience in a B2B sales role
Experience as a Technical Sales Engineer, Territory Sales Manager, or Field Sales Representative, Account Manager selling tooling, PPE or similar production equipment, welding consumables, PPE, or hygiene/chemicals/cleaning solutions
Sound understanding of general manufacturing and engineering processes
Ability to technically sell solutions to meet customer needs
Live in a commutable distance to Aberdeen and be able to travel across the Aberdeen area down to Montrose
Have a full, valid UK driving license with the right to work full time permanently in the UK without sponsorship or restriction
Nice to have:
Cutting Tool, Hand Tools or Welding Consumables Sales experience: In-depth understanding of cutting tool types, applications, materials, and machining processes (e.g., drilling, milling, turning)
PPE Product Sales: Familiarity with PPE categories (e.g., respiratory, hand, eye, and hearing protection) and relevant safety standards (e.g., EN, ISO, HSE regulations)
Industry & Process Knowledge: Awareness of manufacturing and engineering processes in sectors such as oil and gas, aerospace, automotive, fabrication, or general engineering/production
