Job Description:

Fintech company is looking for an Account Manager to join their team in Tokyo. They currently have 80 members with 50% from overseas and offices in Japan, Korea and Europe. The company offers English and Japanese language support, is fully remote and you can work from overseas as well. Join their team of 4 Account Executives to support the growth of the business. You will be responsible to manage the sales cycle and build long-term partnerships.

Job Responsibility:

  • Mainly responsible for new business development for financial institutions such as banks, credit cards, securities, and insurance, as well as non-financial companies such as accounting, ERP, and fintech
  • Provide insightful and strategic solutions to client problems, while maintaining effective business relationships with client companies and encouraging their adoption by communicating the value of company's API platform and technology
  • You will work with the marketing team to understand the challenges and needs of potential customers, primarily inbound tourists, and collaborate with the company's technical and development departments to provide solutions that utilize our services and products
  • You will work with the in-house legal department to review contracts with clients and proactively move projects forward with the agreement of financial terms

Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in inside sales or field sales related to software or cloud services, or experience in the financial industry
  • Ability to understand the issues customers face and propose solutions
  • Extensive experience with proposal activities with lead times of 3 to 6 months
  • Communication and teamwork skills to smoothly collaborate with in-house technical teams, partner companies, and client companies
  • Timely pipeline management, case management, and activity management using sales management tools
