St. Lucia Times is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Account Manager to join our Sales & Marketing team. Job Responsibility:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned clients to ensure their needs are met and to foster long-term partnerships
Serve as the main point of contact between clients and the company, promptly addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback
Work with clients to understand their goals and create strategies using the company's media offerings
Accurately and promptly process booking orders, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), media schedules, and advertising plans
Create and process booking orders for Freelance Sales Representatives and liaise between freelancers and the Accounts department to ensure accurate invoice distribution and timely payments before advertisement publication
Conduct regular customer satisfaction surveys and compile quarterly reports
Monitor and respond to incoming sales emails and calls for ad bookings and RFPs promptly
Ensure all contract requirements for assigned clients are fulfilled and renew contracts in a timely manner
Identify and present upselling and cross-selling opportunities to clients for approval
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to execute advertising campaigns on schedule and within budget, delivering publication proofs and performance reports promptly
Work with content, marketing, and creative teams to develop advertising products and programs that align with clients' objectives
Track client budgets, ensure all credits are utilised, and communicate proactively to maintain spending within agreed limits
Continuously update the Customer Success Management (CSM) database with sales activities and opportunities
Perform any other reasonable and related duties as assigned
Assist in coordinating client appreciation and networking events, presentations, advertising specials and promotions
Solicit the daily sales from each Sales Representative and update the Daily Sales Tracker accordingly
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications, or related degree, or equivalent years of work-related experience
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in using Google Suite (Docs, Slides, Sheets, etc.) and experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and quality in all aspects of work
Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
Adaptability and flexibility to navigate changes in the industry and respond to client needs promptly
Knowledge of the media and advertising industry, including current trends, competitor offerings, and best practices
Commitment to continuous learning and staying informed about industry developments and emerging technologies
A valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation for attending client meetings and events, as needed
