Job Description:

Our client, a leading provider of Electrical Supply products and services, is actively seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Account Manager to join their team. This role provides an opportunity to work in a vibrant environment, helping to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and providing ongoing sales and operational support.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage assigned customer accounts and ensure a consistently positive experience
  • Write customer orders and discuss pricing and product availability
  • Develop processes to keep customers organized and informed, including forecasting support
  • Participate in ongoing training related to electrical distribution equipment and lighting
  • Provide purchasing insights based on customer conversations and relationships
  • Assist walk-in customers with product questions and handle cash/credit transactions
  • Support telephone sales (answer calls, take messages, route inquiries, process orders)
  • Prepare and pick sales orders to assist the warehouse team
  • Contribute to marketing initiatives, events, and customer communications
  • Maintain showroom displays and literature
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Previous customer service and/or administrative experience is required (1+ years strongly preferred)– retail, hospitality, restaurant, etc. preferred, but office experience will be considered as well
  • Computer proficiency is required
  • Demonstrated ability to provide a high level of customer service and handle multiple priorities at once is essential
  • Must have stellar multitasking and prioritizing ability, as well as a strong sense of urgency
  • Must have stellar communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must be organized, possess strong problem-solving skills
  • Must show initiative, self-motivation, perseverance
