Pareto FM is looking for an experienced and driven Account Manager (Hard FM) to lead the delivery of technical facilities management services across a portfolio of client sites throughout the Manchester and Leeds region. This is a field-based role where travel between sites is a core part of the position. You’ll take full ownership of operational performance, compliance, and financial delivery across multiple locations, ensuring safe, reliable, and high-quality engineering standards across your portfolio. Job Responsibility:
Act as the primary client contact across multiple sites
Build strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders
Lead and support engineering and technical teams across your portfolio
Drive consistency in planned and reactive maintenance delivery
Oversee hard FM services including M&E maintenance, compliance, statutory inspections, and building systems
Ensure full compliance with health & safety and statutory regulations
Monitor KPIs and SLAs, taking corrective action where required
Manage subcontractors and specialist service partners
Take ownership of contract performance across multiple sites
Manage budgets, forecasting, and cost control
Identify opportunities for efficiencies, lifecycle planning, and service improvements
Produce operational and financial performance reports
Requirements:
Proven experience in an Account Manager, Facilities Manager, or Senior Hard FM role
Strong background in hard FM, M&E, compliance, and building services
Experience managing multi-site or mobile contracts
Strong leadership experience managing engineering and technical teams
Excellent stakeholder and client management skills
Strong commercial awareness and budget management capability
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly
