We are looking for an Account Manager to support client relationships and day-to-day service operations for a growing business in Dallas, Texas. This contract opportunity with permanent potential is ideal for someone who can balance customer support, cross-functional coordination, and account oversight while maintaining a high standard of service. The person in this role will work closely with sales, supply chain, and finance teams to help deliver a seamless customer experience and strengthen long-term client partnerships.
Job Responsibility
Oversee assigned customer accounts to improve service quality, responsiveness, and overall account performance
Respond to customer questions and requests promptly, ensuring each interaction is handled with professionalism and attention to detail
Coordinate customer specifications and order-related details in alignment with established sales and operational guidelines
Partner with supply chain teams to help maintain delivery timelines and meet client expectations for product availability
Support the sales organization throughout the customer lifecycle, including onboarding, account follow-up, retention efforts, and business reviews
Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and account analyses to help track service levels, customer activity, and business needs
Work with accounting and finance teams to help resolve claims and assist with credit-related documentation for new and existing customers
Investigate customer concerns and sales-related issues, then develop practical solutions to address recurring challenges
Contribute to a collaborative service environment by promoting accountability, urgency, and strong internal coordination across departments
Document client service practices and report any issues connected to product safety or quality, while helping ensure service workflows are completed end to end
Requirements
Experience managing customer accounts in a client service, account management, or business-to-business environment
Background supporting sales activities, including inside sales coordination and handling inbound customer inquiries
Ability to build strong detail-focused relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
Strong communication skills with the ability to manage issues tactfully and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
Proficiency in preparing reports, spreadsheets, and other business documentation with accuracy and organization
Comfortable working across sales, supply chain, accounting, and finance teams to support account needs
Problem-solving skills with the ability to identify service issues and drive effective resolutions
