It supports the advancement of high-tech, sustainable farming in the UK, avoiding unnecessary food miles that come from imported strawberries at this time of year. Powered with renewable electricity and surplus heat from Dyson Farming’s adjacent anaerobic digester, the giant glasshouse is 760m long with 1456 rows of strawberries and 1,225,000 strawberry plants which will produce 1,250 tonnes of strawberries each year for British consumers. We have an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager to join our Glasshouse team in Carrington!
Job Responsibility:
Drive sales decisions and manage order amendments
Daily customer communications both retail and non-retail
Assist with forward forecasting and availability across customer base
Host customer visits and represent the business professionally
Record and present commercial KPIs
Manage invoicing processes and resolve queries
Set up and maintain customer and packaging data in ERP
Support new customer onboarding and packaging procurement
Conduct competitor analysis and reporting
Collaborate with internal teams on sales plans and availability
Opportunities to be involved in other cross functional commercial projects within Dyson Farming
Support weekend commercials as part of a 1-in-3 rota
Requirements:
Strong organisational and communication skills
IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and various systems
Proactive attitude to health and safety
Experience in FMCG industry advantageous
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Experience with ERP systems and invoicing processes
Commercial awareness and problem-solving ability
Flexibility to support weekend communications and tasks
