Apex Systems is seeking an Account Manager to support a major multi‑year technology program for one of our large financial clients based in Pittsburgh, PA.
Job Responsibility:
Build and maintain strong relationships across the bank’s technology and business teams
Serve as a trusted liaison between internal teams and bank stakeholders
Coordinate meetings, capture notes, track follow‑ups, and ensure alignment across workstreams
Identify challenges or roadblocks within the bank’s current program and escalate appropriately
Communicate concerns proactively and clearly to internal and external stakeholders
Be on site in Pittsburgh when possible (ideally every other week) to strengthen relationships and stay close to the program
Network to uncover new opportunities and areas where the company can add value
Support the growth of the existing account by understanding stakeholder needs and connecting them with internal capabilities
Assist in maintaining and expanding additional Pittsburgh‑based accounts
Lay the groundwork for future software sales opportunities as the company’s product launches
Requirements:
Experience in financial services, technology, or technology within a banking environment
Payments knowledge is a strong plus
4–5 years of sales experience preferred, OR early‑career candidates with strong sales personality and stakeholder management skills
A few years of account management experience is beneficial
Based in or near Pittsburgh
remote candidates considered if able to be onsite every other week
