Job Description

As an Account Manager, you will drive commercial growth within a portfolio of Mollie’s largest Dutch customers. You won't just maintain relationships; you will act as a strategic partner, deeply understanding each customer’s business model to proactively identify revenue opportunities. Your mission is to maximize account value through upselling, cross-selling, and expanding product adoption, positioning Mollie’s suite of solutions as the key to your customers' success.

Job Responsibility

  • Own and grow revenue across a portfolio of strategic accounts, meeting retention goals while driving measurable net revenue growth
  • Identify, develop, and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities to increase product adoption and expand Mollie’s share of wallet
  • Build strong relationships with decision-makers and lead business reviews focused on performance, growth, and commercial opportunities
  • Monitor account performance and pipeline using CRM tools to provide accurate forecasting and leverage data to prioritize growth initiatives
  • Manage commercial terms, pricing discussions, and contract renewals to secure sustainable, long-term partnerships

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Account Management, Sales, or a quota-carrying Customer Success role within SaaS, fintech, or payments
  • A proven history of managing a portfolio and consistently achieving or exceeding revenue growth, expansion, or commercial targets
  • Demonstrated ownership of account growth strategies with the ability to manage commercial conversations with stakeholders including procurement, finance, and leadership
  • Strong experience in upselling and cross-selling, with the ability to lead commercial proposals and contract renewals
  • Strong CRM discipline (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for pipeline tracking and reporting, coupled with a data-driven mindset and strong Excel skills
  • Native Dutch and fluent English are required for this role
