We are seeking an experienced and credible Account Manager to lead a high‑profile Total Facilities Management (TFM) contract based in Luton. The contract covers a broad range of services, including cleaning, security, catering and hard services, and plays a critical role in delivering a seamless workplace experience for our client. This is a highly visible, client‑facing position and would suit someone who brings confidence, personality and strong leadership to everything they do. Job Responsibility

  • Provide overall leadership of the TFM contract, covering hard and soft FM services
  • Act as the primary client contact, building effective relationships and managing escalations professionally
  • Oversee performance against KPIs and SLAs, ensuring consistent delivery and continuous improvement
  • Lead, engage and develop on‑site teams and subcontractors, creating a positive and high‑performing culture
  • Ensure full compliance with health & safety, statutory and contractual requirements
  • Manage financial performance, including budgets, forecasting and cost control
  • Prepare and present performance reports and attend regular client review meetings
  • Proactively identify opportunities for service enhancement, innovation and added value

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing a cleaning and security contract within a facilities management environment
  • Experience of working on TFM contracts, with exposure to catering and hard services highly desirable
  • Several years’ experience in an Account Manager or similar senior operational role
  • Confident and credible in a client‑facing position, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong people manager with the ability to motivate, support and challenge teams effectively
  • Commercially aware, with experience managing budgets and P&L accountability
  • Solid understanding of health & safety and compliance standards
  • An interest in food and service delivery, with a genuine focus on quality and customer experience
  • Relevant FM or technical qualifications (IOSH, NEBOSH, IWFM or similar) are desirable
