Job Description:

Through a customer-centred approach, you will join the Commercial business unit that provides a complete and integrated offer, which includes oil products, natural gas, and electricity. Apart from these, it also offers convenience products and services and multi-energy proposals, such as charging stations for electric vehicles or decentralised solar energy solutions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Promote commercial initiatives with the client portfolio of customers under their responsibility, in terms of offering products and/or services made available in the Enterprise Service area, in order to achieve the sales targets assigned every six months
  • Participate in and promote after-sales activities, namely follow-up actions and/or technical visits, in order to increase customer satisfaction and consequent customer loyalty
  • Understand all the client's business areas and promote internally, with the various areas of Galp, the development of energy solutions that contribute to meeting its decarbonization targets and to its competitiveness
  • Identify business opportunities (cross-selling), carrying out analyses of their profitability, as well as prospecting for new clients
  • Contributing to the identification of market trends and competitor offers, in order to provide information that will help broaden and improve the portfolio of offers available
  • Providing the necessary inputs for the annual sales budget definition process for the client portfolio under its responsibility
  • Ensuring that the necessary actions are taken with logistics, technical assistance and back-office service providers to guarantee the established levels of service quality and customer satisfaction
  • Ensuring the implementation of Galp's commercial and strategic initiatives in the client portfolio for which they are responsible

Requirements:

  • Academic background in Engineering, Management or Economics
  • Experience in Gas & Power
  • Ability to develop good relationships, communicate and create empathy with various interlocutors and clients of different levels of knowledge, ensuring trust and maintaining long-lasting relationships
  • Autonomy in their work, ability to self-learn and share with the team
  • Working effectively in a team to cooperate and exchange information efficiently
  • Experience in the commercial area and in the energy sector
  • Good knowledge of English and Spanish
  • Analytical and technical skills, and knowledge and understanding of energy areas
  • Good knowledge and ability to use and monitor the development of digital and commercial management tools (Power BI/Digital Platforms/Excel)
  • Interest in learning, researching and creating solutions with a commercial impact
