Job Description

Account Manager Southern Territory for Babolat UK in Wimbledon, permanent contract. Responsible for account management, sales growth, client relations, and sponsorship opportunities in the racquet sports industry.

Job Responsibility

  • Account management of several accounts in our 4 sports (tennis / Padel / Badminton / Pickleball)
  • Identify and manage growth plans and explore all sales revenue opportunities with existing clients
  • Manage all client's sales and order related activity within the area
  • Analyse and report the area's market size, associated trends and market share of the brand
  • Manage credit control related to clients within the area
  • Facilitate in depth client product training
  • Identify new sales opportunities within the territory
  • Identify coach and local grass roots sponsorship opportunities, develop and manage those relationships being in regular contact with the network
  • Co-ordinate and attend demo/promotional activations with the sponsored network
  • Ensure the territory marketing and expenses budgets are adhered to as set by Country Manager
  • Support the Inside Sales in creating and delivering buying days for the retailer network managed by inside sales
  • Ensure regular operational documentation if completed and shared to the UK and Ireland Country Manager

Requirements

  • Understanding of the racquet industry, in particular tennis and have a strong product knowledge
  • Degree in Business, Marketing or related subject
  • At least 3 years' experience required in sales management role
  • Master IT tools for management (spreadsheets, databases, decision-making tools)
  • Master use of an ERP system: SALESFORCE, B2B, ORLIWEB
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated individual, highly organised, with a proven track record of sales
  • Good ambassador for racquet sports equipment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and ability to work positively as part of a small team and from remote (out of office) locations

Nice to have

Ability to play tennis at minimum senior county level would be advantageous
