In this role, you'll focus on Small-to-Medium Sized Business (SMB) post-sales, driving growth by upselling marketing products, ensuring high operational quality, and securing long-term partnerships. Account Managers play a key role in helping our partners succeed on our platform and consulting them on growth opportunities!
Job Responsibility:
Manage and Grow Restaurant Partnerships: Oversee a large portfolio of Uber Eats restaurant partners, helping them thrive on the platform by acting as a trusted consultant and developing joint business plans tailored to their needs
Foster Strong Relationships: Build meaningful connections with merchant partners through email, phone, in-person meetings, and consistent communication, focusing on trust and long-term collaboration
Upsell and Market: Introduce and sell marketing products, such as ads and promotions, to help partners achieve their growth goals and maximize their success on the platform
Drive Data-Informed Decisions: Perform quantitative, qualitative, and financial analyses to deeply understand the restaurant industry, bringing actionable insights to the table and fostering data-driven decisions
Optimize Merchant Success: Standardize best practices and refine processes to enhance merchant performance and satisfaction within your territory. Also, drive on-the-ground knowledge and context about the territory you operate into the wider Uber Eats team
Monitor and Report Performance: Set, track, and analyze KPIs and OKRs to evaluate partner success, identify challenges, and uncover new opportunities for growth
Lead Partnership Evolution: Guide partnerships through every phase—from initial relationship building and business intelligence to contract renegotiations, expansions, and new feature rollouts
Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience in sales, account management, or similar functions
Desire to build a career in the commercial side of the business, working with top local accounts and crafting a business together
Outstanding listening, communication and organizational skills
You’re self-motivated and highly organized as you’ll manage a big portfolio of merchants
Proficiency with tools like Excel, Google Sheets and Salesforce
Fluency in English
Nice to have:
Experience upselling promotional products and ads
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to come to solutions
SQL understanding and you are comfortable working with numbers to drive insights
Experience working in food, tech, or e-commerce industries
