The Account Management group within Prime Services is responsible for the overall client experience. The Account Manager should fully understand the strategies executed by their clients and the revenue opportunity for Citi, while looking to leverage the relationship to enhance the client footprint both within FDC and across Prime Services. At all times the priority, content and diversity of the work is dictated by the direction and demands of our clients. The Account Manager is responsible for defending and driving organic revenue growth, maintaining overall client satisfaction, and promoting client participation across the Futures, OTC Clearing & FX Prime Brokerage product suite (FDC). The Account Manager is also tasked with fostering client efficiency from both a returns and an operational best practice perspective.
Job Responsibility
Defend and grow client Futures, OTC Clearing and FXPB revenues with a focus on profitability and returns
Lead existing client relationships serving as a senior point of contact for new opportunities and escalations
Know Your Client – Structure, Strategies, and Service needs
Understanding the client wallet, driving organic growth while identifying opportunities for cross-selling across Prime Services
Host periodic client reviews to determine overall client satisfaction
Partner with clients on expansion into new markets and products
Work with partners in technology and product to realize client asks and monetize new opportunities
Work in partnership with both the client and internal stakeholders to ensure Citi is a top 3 provider
First line of defense to ensure that clients adhere to prescribed risk parameters, working with In Business Risk, and independent Credit Risk management coverage
Requirements
At least 3-5 years prior experience in Futures, OTC Clearing and/or FX Prime Brokerage
A strong understanding of risk and control, preferably in the context of the FDC businesses
Cross product knowledge covering Futures, Equities, Fixed Income, FX and Cleared Swaps
Understanding of global markets, including market regulations and operational/settlement procedures
Prior experience in a client facing role is a plus
Willing to Travel for Business
FINRA Series SIE, 3, 7, and 63 will be required
Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the confidence to engage in client meetings and discussions
Attention to detail and the commitment to deliver excellent service to a demanding global client base
Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with a sense of ownership in defining and implementing solutions to client requests / challenges
Strong intellectual grasp of the industry, with the ability to anticipate organizational response to future changes in line with the demands of the business and client base
Natural curiosity, willingness, and motivation to maintain a steep learning curve
Ability to develop deep, broad, and responsive/engaged relationships
AI proficiency a plus
Conversational in Spanish and/or Portuguese a plus
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
