Job Description

The Account Manager position grows and retains H.B. Fuller's market share and customer base in the segment while achieving profit sales targets.

Job Responsibility

  • Promote, quantify and expertly sell value, which differentiates H.B. Fuller in the market and adds value to our customers
  • Identify, develop and close new business opportunities and communicate forecasting needs to the business
  • Implement business pricing strategy based on business guidelines, expertly delivers price increases thereby enabling prices to stick
  • Apply effective prospecting techniques, promptly establish connection with key contacts at new prospects with relevant messaging, and assess needs/interest
  • Broad understanding of markets and industry, and frequently weaves knowledge into conversations with customers
  • Optimize offer for the customer and H.B. Fuller by creatively using supply chain knowledge

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of relevant sales experience
  • related industry and B2B experience
  • Demonstrates behaviors from Sales Excellence training
  • Bachelors or University Degree with a technical/mechanical, marketing, or chemistry background preferred
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel
