Job Description

This isn't just another sales role; it's an opportunity to step into a proven, high-growth environment with a clear path to seven-figure deals and exceptional earnings. You will be selling a market-leading, AI-powered platform as a key partner within the SAP ecosystem, giving you unparalleled access and credibility with some of the world's largest companies. You get to leverage the power of the SAP sales engine, engage in strategic, CFO-led conversations, and sell a solution that is mission-critical for modern finance transformation. If you are driven by success and want to sell a solution with clear demand and a strong competitive advantage, this is the money-making opportunity you've been looking for.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead the entire sales cycle for BlackLine’s SAP Solution Extension (SoLEx) offerings within a dedicated territory, from prospecting to closing complex, high-value deals
  • Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to generate a robust pipeline, focusing on new logo acquisition within the thriving SAP customer base
  • Build and maintain powerful relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives in the Office of the CFO, acting as a trusted advisor
  • Master and apply value-based selling methodologies like MEDDIC to articulate the strategic impact and ROI of our solutions
  • Collaborate closely with our internal teams, including pre-sales, marketing, and customer success, to deliver a seamless customer experience
  • Forge strong, collaborative partnerships with SAP Account Executives to identify joint opportunities and co-sell effectively
  • Drive and manage complex contract negotiations, ensuring you meet and exceed your sales targets
  • Represent BlackLine with professionalism and integrity at industry events, webinars, and client meetings.

Requirements

  • A proven track record of success in a quota-carrying, new business-focused SaaS sales role, consistently meeting or exceeding your targets
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles and selling sophisticated software solutions to large enterprise accounts
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to confidently engage with senior finance and IT leadership
  • A hunter mentality, with a proactive and methodical approach to building a pipeline and closing new business
  • A collaborative spirit and the ability to build strong internal and external partnerships to achieve success
  • A strong understanding of value-based selling methodologies and a disciplined approach to your sales process
  • Experience selling into the Office of the CFO or familiarity with the SAP ecosystem is a significant advantage
  • The ambition and drive to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, and rewarding sales environment
  • While your practical experience and track record are most important, an academic background such as a university degree in Business or Finance is considered a valuable asset.

What we offer

  • A technology-based company with a sense of adventure and a vision for the future
  • A culture that is kind, open, and accepting
  • A culture where BlackLiner's continued growth and learning is empowered
  • BlackLine offers a wide variety of professional development seminars and inclusive affinity groups to celebrate and support our diversity.
