The West Territory team is looking for an Account Manager based in Guadalajara to drive the growth of our Hero SMB portfolio. This segment represents a key opportunity to strengthen our selection and elevate Merchant performance across the city. In this role, the candidate will manage a portfolio of Local Hero SMB Partners, executing commercial strategies that enhance sales, partner engagement, and overall account health. The Account Manager will develop and deploy strategic proposals across Offers and Ads, using data-driven insights to identify growth opportunities and improve campaign performance. The position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the territory’s results by collaborating closely with cross-functional teams such as Operations, Marketing, and Growth. The candidate will support the execution of local initiatives that reinforce our goal of winning selection street by street and geo by geo. This role owns the performance of its assigned geographical area, ensuring continuous growth, optimal selection mix within the existing book of business, and delivery of high-quality commercial execution.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage a portfolio of Local Hero SMB Merchants, conducting regular performance reviews and implementing commercial actions to drive growth across conversion, and customer engagement
  • Develop and execute Offers and Ads strategies tailored to Top Merchant’s objectives, using data insights to optimize campaign performance and ROI
  • Monitor account health metrics, identify risks or opportunities
  • Collaborate with Cross-functional teams to support local initiatives and ensure seamless execution of commercial plans
  • Maintain accurate reporting, documentation, and CRM updates to track progress against KPIs and ensure efficient portfolio management

Requirements:

  • Experience in account management or B2B commercial roles (2–3 years) and performance targets
  • Strong analytical capabilities with proficiency in using data, reporting tools, and CRM systems to manage pipelines, evaluate performance, and build commercial proposals
  • Advanced analytical fluency, including the ability to run performance diagnostics, and translate findings into actionable commercial strategies

Nice to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proven track record of delivering against commercial KPIs in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Prior experience managing a high-volume book of business in a marketplace, tech, or food-delivery environment, with a proven ability to drive growth through Offers and Ads optimization
  • Experience executing hyperlocal growth strategies, showing strong judgment on selection needs, geographical prioritization, and competitive dynamics
  • Demonstrated success influencing merchant behavior through structured business reviews, negotiation, and consultative selling techniques
