Job Description

As an Account Manager (AM) for the French market, you will be responsible for growing and retaining an existing portfolio of customers, while actively driving revenue expansion through upsells, cross-sells, and renewals. This role sits at the intersection of Account Management and Sales. We are looking for someone with a hunter mindset, who enjoys creating opportunities, running outbound campaigns within existing accounts, and leading strong value-based commercial conversations. This position is open to both experienced Account Managers and Account Executives looking to transition into an expansion-focused role.

Job Responsibility

  • Own and grow a portfolio of existing customers, driving renewals and expansion revenue
  • Proactively build expansion pipeline through outbound activities within your accounts
  • Design and run structured outbound campaigns (segmentation, messaging, multichannel cadences)
  • Lead value-based commercial conversations, connecting product capabilities to customer business outcomes
  • Manage pricing migrations and contract renewals, negotiating with multiple stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Success Managers to align adoption, value delivery, and commercial growth
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline hygiene in the CRM
  • Contribute to improving Tellent’s account management and expansion playbooks

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in B2B SaaS as an Account Manager, Account Executive, or similar closing role
  • Proven ability to close revenue, whether through new business or account expansion
  • Strong outbound experience, including building and executing outreach campaigns
  • Comfortable running structured sales cycles and managing multiple opportunities in parallel
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with experience engaging multi-stakeholder accounts
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and manage a customer portfolio with rigor
  • Fluent French and strong English skills (company language is English)

Nice to have

  • Background as an Account Executive transitioning into Account Management
  • Strong hunter mentality applied to an existing customer base
  • Proven value-selling approach (ROI, business impact, outcomes)
  • Proficiency in at least one sales methodology: MEDDIC / MEDDPICC, Challenger, SPIN, SPICED, BANT
  • Experience with multi-product or suite-based SaaS offerings
  • Familiarity with tools such as HubSpot, Planhat, or similar CRM / CS platforms
