Job Description

Are you our next Account Manager – OPAT & Clinical Nutrition covering Central (Tampere, Jyväskylä and Lahti) and Eastern Finland, as well as parts of the Helsinki region? This is a business-driven, commercial role with a clear primary focus on OPAT (Outpatient Parenteral Antimicrobial Therapy), IV antibiotics treatment at home. Combined with 70% work on OPAT, you will have a strategic and access responsibility within Clinical Nutrition (~30%), with Numeta - an established standard of care for pediatric and neonatal patients requiring parenteral nutrition as the core priority. The role is designed for a professional who understands the complexity of the Finnish public healthcare system, characterized by decentralized decision-making, regional variation across Wellbeing Services Counties, and close collaboration between hospitals, home hospitals (Kotisairaala), and pharmacies. On this position, you will report to the Nordic Infusion Systems Sales Lead and work closely with cross-functional commercial and medical colleagues across the Nordics.

Job Responsibility

  • Own and develop OPAT as a locally adapted service-based care concept across assigned regions
  • Drive OPAT growth through structured prioritization, account planning, and long-term project ownership
  • Identify, develop, and manage key accounts within Finnish public healthcare
  • Map and understand care pathways, stakeholders and decision-making processes, as well as regional funding and budgeting logic
  • Collaborate closely with internal sales and marketing teams, Medical Affairs, home hospitals, pharmacies, and service partners
  • Manage pipeline, forecasting, and performance follow-up with discipline and structure
  • Re-establish strong, long-term relationships with key pediatric and neonatal clinicians
  • Ensure continued trust in the products as the standard of care
  • Coordinate and support scientific dialogue by ensuring appropriate and pragmatic involvement of Medical Affairs when needed, and contributing to the planning and delivery of relevant advisory boards, expert meetings and guideline-related discussions in a compliant manner
  • Ensure consistency and professionalism in all clinical nutrition interactions

Requirements

  • Strong commercial and business mindset
  • Experience working in complex public healthcare environments
  • Experience in solution- or service-based selling, OPAT, infusion therapy, home care, or similar care models and tender-driven environments preferred
  • Proven ability to navigate decentralized organizations and work with multiple stakeholders and long decision-making processes
  • Comfortable discussing clinical workflows, organizational efficiency and capacity challenges and health economics
  • Ability to work independently across a large geographical territory
  • Fluent English and Finnish
  • Clinical background in infection, pharmacy, nursing, nutrition, or a related field is an advantage
