Robert Half HR Solutions is currently partnering with a client that is looking to add an Account Manager to oversee executive nonqualified deferred compensation and performance plans for corporate clients. This position involves providing expert consulting, managing plan operations, and coordinating with HR and Finance teams to ensure smooth administration and compliance. The ideal candidate will possess deep industry expertise and excel at building strong client relationships. Job Responsibility:

  • Manage the day-to-day administration of executive benefit plans, ensuring accurate and timely operations
  • Serve as the primary contact for client check-ins, addressing inquiries, resolving challenges, and delivering strategic plan guidance
  • Oversee annual enrollment processes, including timeline development and participant communication strategies
  • Collaborate with recordkeeping partners such as Fidelity and Empower to maintain accurate reporting and operational efficiency
  • Analyze and prepare detailed plan reports, reconciliations, and activity summaries to support client decision-making
  • Lead initiatives for new plan implementations and updates, ensuring seamless integration and compliance
  • Provide expert consulting on plan design and funding concepts, aligning strategies with client goals
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts between HR and Finance teams to streamline plan operations and communication
  • Ensure compliance with §409A regulations and other relevant policies, monitoring plan funding and trust arrangements

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in executive benefits, retirement services, or similar client-facing roles
  • Proven track record of working with large employers, such as Fortune 1000 companies
  • Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in finance, accounting, business, or economics
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, with strong organizational and communication skills
  • Solid understanding of §409A regulations and plan funding concepts, with familiarity in rabbi trusts considered a plus
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with HR, Finance, and recordkeeping partners
  • Strong analytical skills to prepare and assess plan reports and reconciliations
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail when managing plan operations

  • Responsible for assisting and managing communications (e.g., guidance on benefit program features, plans, enrollment, rules, and eligibility) to employees and management
  • Maintain the calendar of wellness events and coordinate the distribution of all wellness information
  • Monitors ongoing administration, including the setup of new accounts, funding of contributions, and compliance with applicable ACA rules
  • Understand and execute company’s Standard Operating Procedures and reporting tools to ensure efficiency and accuracy of execution
  • Manages audits, required filings and other compliance related initiatives, as required
  • Identify needs, assist in the development of and maintain communication systems to promote understanding of benefit programs and practices for management, employees, and HR staff
  • Coordinate and plan the annual Open Enrollment process
