Job Responsibility

  • Ensure Brose's sales turnover and revenues targets at the customer
  • Ensure that Brose reaches the project targets (milestones, revenue, resources and technical concept) defined in the approved project release
  • Ensure cost calculation in accordance with HKMC cost standard to achieve the best price
  • Lead acquisition project to extend new business in Korea (Kick off, Customer interface, local engineering and commercials)
  • Support strategy task of market analyses, customer strategy and promotion approach

Requirements

  • Prepare quotations based on customer requests for quotations (RFQ)
  • Review RFQ documents provided by the customer, if necessary with the support of other departments as e.g.: controlling, purchasing, IE, LO etc
  • Cost calculation in accordance with HKMC standard cost scheme /design cost calculation for RFI and RFQ
  • Prepare a sales price proposal considering comparable products in the market and the competitor situation
  • Argue his sales price proposal with his supervisor
  • Present and negotiate quotation with customer within the price limits agreed on with the supervisor
  • Manage customer projects with low complexity in line with project management rules
  • Establish and network reliable and sustainable relationship with the customer
  • Initiate activities to improve revenues and realization of the activities together with related departments
  • Verifying of contracts and documents (orders, purchasing- and warranty conditions)
  • break down of deviations with already existing agreements
  • Evaluate the deviations and prepare a statement with support of related departments
  • Negotiate deviations with the customer
  • Coordinate end of production, deal with spare part orders including the determination of all-time demand and scrapping of tooling
  • Maintains project reporting and tracking through system, including project requests, change requests and project closure requests
  • May require attendance at Headquarters to present projects to executives
  • Sets corrective actions and provides project leadership
  • Observe, analyze and evaluate the market situation with regard to sales potential, competitor activities as well as estimate trends and market evolutions for the products in charge
  • Observation, analysis and evaluation are going to be reflected in the annual sales planning
