The Technical Product Specialist is a strategic commercial position focused on driving specification sales and expanding market share within advanced engineering sectors. Moving beyond traditional sales, you will act as a trusted technical consultant, translating mechanical features into efficiency and safety benchmarks for engineers and procurement heads.
Job Responsibility
Promote and sell a comprehensive range of premium hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to key account dealers and industrial end-users
Conduct high-impact, onsite technical product demonstrations to showcase tool efficiency, ergonomic safety, and precision in high-stakes environments
Cultivate and manage long-term relationships across the Aerospace, Railway, and Heavy Industry sectors by delivering tailored mechanical solutions
Deliver professional, structured technical training to distributors and corporate end-users on equipment application and maintenance protocols
Manage a broad geographic territory covering West and East Malaysia to expand the client base and achieve regional sales targets
Coordinate with internal technical support and regional supply chain teams to guarantee exceptional after-sales service and customer satisfaction
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or an equivalent technical field
Minimum of 2 to 3 years in industrial B2B sales, OR over 4 years of hands-on technical experience (e.g., Aircraft Technician, Heavy Machinery Engineer)
Strong commercial ambition with a demonstrated desire to transition into a high-growth, client-facing sales career
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build immediate rapport with specialized workshop engineers
