Primary focus on B2B efforts to expand client base and users for SAAS platform. Our client has developed a platform for drug discovery and development groups worldwide. They are growing rapidly and need consultative sales professionals with proven business development experience and a solid understanding of the drug development process and/or medicinal chemistry. If you are interested in joining a small, innovative company with exponential growth potential, you will definitely want to consider this opportunity!

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop business plan to achieve sales quotas in territory
  • Strong focus on new business development – prospecting, qualifying and closing new clients within biotech and pharma accounts
  • Establish trusted relationships with R&D leaders, Scientists and procurement
  • Manage complex and multi-decision maker sales cycle from start to close, including retention via renewals

Requirements:

  • BS in life science discipline
  • advanced degree preferred
  • 5+ years experience in B2B sales within the life sciences
  • ideally selling software/information services or CRO services
  • Knowledge of chemistry, DMPK and the entire drug development process
  • Proven track record of achieving/exceeding sales quotas
  • Established network within research and drug discovery space (e.g., medicinal chemists, Discovery Scientists, R&D)
  • Ability to effectively communicate with scientists as well as C Level executives
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented
