Job Description:

Are you an experienced Account Manager ready to work with one of the UK’s most fast-paced retail brands? Do you know your way around print production, promotional campaigns, and door drop solutions? If you’re looking for a role that’s hands-on, client-facing and full of variety, this could be a great fit. We’re looking for someone who can confidently deliver outstanding service to a team of busy marketers. You’ll be working alongside the client’s other strategic agencies to deliver campaigns that span promotional merchandise, commercial print, door drops and warehousing services. You’ll be the essential link between the client, suppliers and internal teams—making sure projects run smoothly, are on time, on budget, and always up to standard.

Job Responsibility:

  • Attending WIPs and client meetings, taking and influencing briefs, then cascading details to wider delivery teams
  • Offering expert advice and technical input to help shape high-quality solutions
  • Managing the full project cycle—from spec and brief through to invoicing and proof of delivery
  • Coordinating critical path timelines and ensuring seamless execution
  • Briefing suppliers, negotiating timings and costs, and selecting the right partners for each job
  • Exploring alternative options and innovations to improve outcomes
  • Producing detailed specifications and clear documentation for internal and external use
  • Monitoring activity and logging all updates via the company’s systems
  • Working closely with internal teams to support broader digital services where relevant
  • Preparing presentations, reports, and supporting wider contractual account activity
  • Attending meetings both on and off-site, and managing occasional out-of-hours press passing
  • Collaborating with the Account Director and Senior Account Manager to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Managing budgets and contributing to overall P&L performance
  • Meeting and exceeding SLAs and KPIs
  • Supporting audits, ensuring compliance, and gathering customer feedback to drive improvements

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in print production across various formats
  • Confident managing multiple campaigns and overlapping timelines
  • A clear understanding of door-to-door services—covering profiling, execution and commercial models
  • The ability to pull together competitor insights through internal tools and supplier networks
  • Commercially minded with good numeracy and attention to detail
  • Great under pressure and always organised, even when juggling priorities
  • A technical print expert who’s confident press passing and quality checking
  • Naturally professional, calm and solutions-focused
  • A project management mindset, with a good eye for sales and opportunities
  • Comfortable advising and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (VLOOKUPs, formulas, filters)
  • Experienced in troubleshooting and resolving production issues
  • Background in client-facing roles, preferably within marketing, print or digital
  • Track record of working within SLA- and KPI-driven contracts
  • Previous experience in print buying, print production or marketing procurement is essential
  • Flexibility to work in a hybrid model across the Manchester office and client site
