The Account Maintenance team supports the accurate and timely setup and ongoing servicing of customer accounts, partnering closely with advisors, clients, and internal operations teams to ensure a smooth experience. The team plays a critical role in maintaining data integrity, meeting regulatory requirements, and resolving account-related requests efficiently. As an Account Maintenance Associate, you will support new account opening and account maintenance activities by processing requests, responding to inquiries, and collaborating with internal partners. You’ll work in a structured, detail-oriented environment while continuously learning and improving processes to better serve advisors and clients!
Job Responsibility:
Review and process new account applications and account maintenance requests, ensuring requests are completed accurately and within established timelines
Maintain detailed records of client interactions and ensure account-related documentation is properly filed and retained
Respond to advisor and client inquiries via phone and electronic channels, providing accurate and compliant information in line with communication and regulatory guidelines
Partner with clearing and internal operations teams to research and resolve more complex account opening and maintenance requests
Support additional operational projects and initiatives as assigned by management
Requirements:
Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform accurate data entry in a high-volume environment
Ability to apply foundational knowledge of account-related processes to resolve increasingly complex requests
Experience identifying process inefficiencies and contributing to operational improvements
Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills, with a consistent focus on service quality and integrity
Ability to build productive working relationships with advisors, clients, and internal partners
Strong time-management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple requests effectively
At least 2 years of direct customer service experience
At least 1 year of back-office operations experience in the financial services industry, preferably with exposure to securities trading
Nice to have:
SIE and Series 7 licenses are a plus, but not required
