Job Description

Account Handler role in specialist Construction & Real Estate team at a well-established Leicester based Insurance Broker, handling mid-corporate cases and providing excellent service to corporate UK based and international clients.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage and service a portfolio of Construction & Real Estate clients
  • Collaborate with underwriters, insurers, and brokers to negotiate coverage options
  • Provide expert advice on commercial insurance products and risk management
  • Prepare and process renewals, endorsements, and adjustments
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
  • Handle client queries and resolve issues promptly
  • Assist in development of new business opportunities through referrals and cross-selling

Requirements

  • 3 or 4 years experience in handling commercial insurance products
  • Excellent knowledge of the UK general Insurance market
  • Industry recognised qualifications
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Acturis experience would be beneficial
  • Cert CII or DIP CII qualified would be advantageous
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Great communicator and team player

Nice to have

  • Previous experience of operating in the Construction & Real Estate sector
  • Acturis experience
  • Cert CII or DIP CII qualification
