As a key member of the Network Merchants LLC (NMI) sales team, the Sales Account Executive will be responsible for acquiring and building new relationships with and through distribution partnerships and channel, selling our full range of solutions (including but not limited to unattended markets such as parking, tolls, kiosks, EV and transit) working with ISV’s, resellers, ISO’s, Manufacturers, Operators, Distributors and Processors across the US from outbound and field sales activity.
Job Responsibility:
Acquire and build new relationships with and through distribution partnerships and channel
Sell full range of solutions (including unattended markets such as parking, tolls, kiosks, EV and transit)
Work with ISV’s, resellers, ISO’s, Manufacturers, Operators, Distributors and Processors across the US
Travel to visit prospective clients and attend industry events
Manage a pipeline of inbound prospective partners
Perform outbound prospecting
Assist Partner Success team with launching and onboarding new partners
Acquire new partner relationships to expand market coverage and drive profitable revenue growth
Achieve/exceed assigned sales quota and performance goals
Create and proactively manage partner prospect list
Lead negotiations, coordinate complex decision-making processes, and overcome objections
Gain knowledge of and influence industry norms through participation in appropriate industry organizations
Help the organization understand industry trends, growth opportunities and new product development opportunities
Remain current and knowledgeable on all NMI products, software and services
Maintain accurate and timely records for efficient reporting of sales and account management activities
Requirements:
Highly motivated & hungry sales professional driven by personal & customer success
Minimum of 2 years of payments industry experience (preferably within unattended and eCommerce solutions)
Experience in negotiating partner/channel contracts with other players in the sector
Ability to build a new business sales pipeline
Consultative sales technique with the ability to close new business
5+ years sales experience focused on new customer or channel partner acquisition
Proven ability to generate new revenue and meet or exceed sales quotas in a hunting-oriented sales role
Strong business acumen and hunter mentality with the ability to generate new business and effectively qualify new opportunities
Results-driven, energetic and entrepreneurial individual emphasizing company goals and objectives
Experience in payments/software products industry with focus on new account acquisition
Able to communicate product features and benefits in a compelling way
Possess excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office applications
