The Account Executive, Account Service, will contribute to the success of one or more accounts with the core responsibility for project management and support on assigned accounts. In partnership with Senior Account Executive/Account Supervisor/Account Director/VP/SVP, Account Service, the Account Executive will support internal teams to deliver work that is on strategy, on time, and on budget.
Job Responsibility:
Serves as a client liaison on project management-related work
Clearly articulates project goals, objectives, and updates in a timely manner
Demonstrates an understanding of the client’s overall business, brand vision, and strategy
Meets with client leadership counterparts to stay informed of updates/pivots to strategy
Works with senior staff to adjust production/project management responsibilities and deliverables
Delivers excellence on behalf of BVK and our clients
Supports organic growth efforts of assigned accounts
May contribute to new business-related activities such as pitch prep or proofing of RFPs
Supports corresponding estimate development once a Scope of Work is approved
Provides input/recommendation for project invoicing
Assists with billing resolution issues with clients
Continuously manages budgets/hours on jobs to avoid overages/write-offs
Seeks insights from past projects to optimize future work
Supports client project initiatives from start to finish
Gains necessary internal/client approvals and keeps the client informed of updates
Manages project management timelines and internal communications
Manages day-to-day process on assigned accounts
Maintains status report updates and participates in client status update meetings
Requirements:
2-4 years agency or comparable business/client-side experience
Proven success as a Project Manager
Experience balancing multiple initiatives, clients, deadlines, and teams
Experience working with cross-functional teams to produce work that’s on time, on budget, and on strategy
Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal skills both internally and with clients
High sense of urgency
Ability to pivot/course correct without becoming overwhelmed
Exemplary organizational skills, time management & attention to detail
Projects confidence in front of clients and internal teams
Desire to participate in ongoing departmental trainings
Consistently seeks ways to proactively contribute to positive client outcomes
